– Screening patients during checkups
– Reviewing a patient’s dental history

– Teaching patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques

– Applying fluoride treatments
– Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases
Dental Assistant
A Dental Assistant, or Dental Technician, is responsible for helping a licensed Dentist in their day-to-day duties and responsibilities. The tasks of a Dental Assistant generally include record-keeping, performing X-rays, and scheduling appointments with patients.
Dental Receptionist
A dental receptionist should expect to perform many different duties, which may include:
– Greet all clients in the office a direct them to the appropriate area of the clinic.
– Answer all phone calls and emails, answer any client questions, and take messages if needed.
– Schedule all appointments.
– Use all office equipment, and maintain and order all office supplies.
– Process payments if needed.
